Two days, not one long stretch
Bookings are arranged by the day, with one full day as the minimum, and you can book a single day or several consecutive days. A weekend is simply two of them side by side: Saturday agreed as its own day, Sunday as another, each with a start and an end you set.
That shape is deliberate. It means neither of you is watching a clock mid-way through Saturday evening, and it means Sunday can be a completely different kind of day from the one before it.
What moves the cost
- The country you are booking in — the day rate is built from the local pay level, so this is the largest factor
- The number of days, which for a weekend is two
- Activity expenses across both days: meals, drinks, tickets, entry
- Travel, if the weekend involves getting somewhere
What a weekend booking is not
It is not an overnight. Day bookings are day-time and public-first, and a longer booking never changes what is on offer: it stays strictly platonic across two days exactly as it does across two hours. Length is not a lever on the boundary and never has been.
It is also not open-ended. Saturday ends when Saturday's booking ends, and Sunday is agreed separately rather than assumed.
Planning it so it holds together
Say what each day is for when you request availability — a wedding on the Saturday and a quiet recovery lunch on the Sunday need different things from the same person, and both are ordinary requests.
