The terms, in full

• Paid in full at confirmation.
• 7 or more days before the date: reschedule or cancel for a 50% refund.
• Under 7 days: the fee is kept and the date cannot move.

Nothing is asked for until the quote is accepted

The full booking estimate — his fee, the duration, activity costs, travel and anything else agreed — comes to you before you confirm. You always see the whole figure first, and the terms above apply from the moment you accept it, not from the first message.

Asking about a date commits you to nothing. The window starts at confirmation, which is also when the day is held for you.

Rescheduling and cancelling are different choices

Seven or more days out, moving the date and cancelling both stay open, and rescheduling is usually the better one: your payment carries to the new date instead of half of it coming back as a refund.

Under seven days, neither is available. The fee is kept and the date is fixed. If your plans are genuinely uncertain, that is an argument for choosing a date with room around it — not for confirming and hoping.

Why we publish this before you pay
